Become Part of Chapel Life
How would you like to join us in helping keep the chapel a part of the cultural and historical life of Fitzrovia and the city of London? Whether it’s donating time, skills or money, we would love to hear from you.
The Fitzrovia Chapel Foundation is a new charity, established to preserve the building for future generations and to make it available for community and cultural activities. We have very modest funding and rely upon support from private individuals and private events. It costs us more than £100,000 a year to maintain this building.
When you become a Friend, you will make a valuable contribution to the future of our wonderful building. Indeed, your support will help us to flourish and enhance our role in Fitzrovia’s community and cultural life. A year-long membership of our Friends scheme costs just £25 and includes a limited edition lapel pin, a letter from our Artistic Director, the opportunity to attend Friends-only events, and quarterly news and updates.
We really appreciate the support and enthusiasm of our visitors. To find out more about how you can help, or to sign up to become a Friend, please email our Chapel Coordinator, Kate, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visits to the Fitzrovia Chapel for quiet contemplation are free. However, we need further support via donations. This will help keep the chapel open to everyone and contribute to the upkeep of this delicate and beautiful building.
The easiest way to give a donation is online, via our Kind Link page. Please remember to Gift Aid your donation as it means we will receive an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you. Please make cheques payable to Fitzrovia Chapel Foundation and post to: The Fitzrovia Chapel Foundation, Fitzrovia Chapel, 2 Pearson Square, London W1T 3BF. There is a GiftAid form below which you may print out and enclose. There is also a donation box and Gift Aid information in the chapel. You can also download the Gift Aid form here
Volunteers help the events team, represent the chapel, greet visitors, and give information to those who are interested in hearing a little history. For events out of hours, you will help the events team to supervise and set up.
Our volunteers are essential to the running of the chapel and we value their contribution in supporting us. Whether it’s being a host during our weekly open days, sitting on our trustee board or advising on preserving the interior of the chapel, your skills and time will find a great home.
