Badge of Honour Children’s Workshops

To celebrate the Fitzrovia Chapel exhibition In Uniform: Stories of Nurses and their Clothing, join artist Christina Rose Brown to create textile badges, inspired by the watches, medals and patches that have adorned nurses uniforms. Working with fabric, we will use appliqué and embroidery techniques to create wearable artworks that participants will be able to take home. We will look at the symbolism used on nursing badges and the history of the Red Cross to inform our own designs.
