Disco

Disco brings together the works of The Royal Academy School’s Class of 2022/23. Set against the mosaic flooded walls and floor of the Fitzrovia Chapel in Central London, the works explore themes ranging from the fantastical, nostalgia and internet culture to the reformation of hapless, useless, found objects. The show includes paintings, sculpture, 3D reliefs, craft, performance and print. The artists respond to the unique atmosphere and aesthetic of the chapel while navigating the shared narratives and conflicts in their works to depict a beautiful and saturated show within this gothic, mosaic labyrinth.
